Periodic glucose self-monitoring is the most used method used by individuals living with diabetes. It measures blood glucose at a give time of measurement. Panatal™ uses an innovative glucometer that digitally records glucose biodata. This blood glucose monitor is supported by its innovative Intuitive Sensing Technology (IST), Bluetooth Connectivity to a mobile App which allows glucose data to be recorded on a cloud based digital health platform. The data is remotely monitored by a team of healthcare professionals, including the treating obstetric clinician, to provide informed care and advisory.

Continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) tracks interstitial fluid glucose levels 24/7 via a small subcutaneous sensor, offering a detailed picture of glycemic trends for pregnant individuals managing type 1, type 2, or gestational diabetes. The CGM technology provided by Panatal™ automatically transmits your glucose data every 5 minutes - a total of 288 readings per day to your smartphone, providing peace of mind. Our continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) provides real-time, frequent glucose readings from the user's interstitial fluid, offering trend data and alerts. Each sensor can only monitor glucose levels for a period of 14 days only.
